SOLUTIONS FOR RESPONSIBLE BUSINESSES

"According to various recent studies global insect decline is in abundance of 50-75%" [Soil Association, 2019]*

WHAT WE DO

Bees & Co. is the world’s first certified Carbon Neutral honey farm and home to the native British honeybee.

We’re award-winning, ethical bee farmers caring for bees on behalf of some of the most recognisable and iconic brands in Britain.

Our beehive adoption plans are helping to prevent the decline of the native British honeybee, whilst providing an innovative and natural sustainability solution for responsible businesses looking for creative CSR or carbon offsetting solutions.

We install your adopted hive at one of our exclusive apiary sites, caring for the bees throughout the year.

We’ll send quarterly and occasional additional updates throughout the year of photos, short videos ideal for social sharing, and longer update videos, for you to see your bees in action - your hive can contain as many as 80,000 bees at the peak of summer!

     FAQs

"What happens to our bees at the end of our adoption?"

At the end of each season you'll be able to choose to continue your beehive adoption at our specially discounted rate for each year following. You don’t need to enter any long-term commitment and can upgrade your plan at any time.

"When will we receive our honey?"

The active beekeeping season begins in the Spring when the weather warms and the bees actively begin foraging, and lasts through to the end of Autumn, around late September. However, it is weather dependant and our bees have often been active right into November! We harvest twice a year: Spring set honey and Summer runny honey and ship once at the end of the year around the start of October.
