Nepeta's slender lavender-blue flowers wave above an aromatic mound of grey-green leaves.
Flowering for weeks over the summer months, it is easy to see why Nepeta is such a favourite with bees and other pollinators.
The terminal lavender-blue flowers appear at the end of slender spikes that wave in the breeze. Nepeta is very aromatic and adds a beautiful softness to any garden.
Nepeta is an easy to grow, hardy, semi-deciduous perennial. Perfect for cottage gardens, it also makes an excellent companion plant in borders and provides lovely informal edging for paths and borders. It also looks beautiful in pots.
