Create your own nectar garden

With dense spikes of tiny, pale-purple flowers, Apple Mint provides nectar for bees and other pollinators in late summer into early autumn.

The rounded, softly hairy, grey-green leaves are decorative and apple-scented and are widely used in cooking.

Dense spikes of tiny, pale-purple flowers

  • Height:  0.5 - 1 metre.
  • Width:  1 - 1.5 metres.
  • Flowering period:  July to August.

Plant Care

Cut back at the end of the growing season.  Can be lifted and divided in spring each year.

Plants are of 9 cms – 1 litre pot size, but to reduce use of plastic we reuse our pots and supply plants wrapped in newspaper.  We mix and use our own compost.
