The rounded, softly hairy, grey-green leaves are decorative and apple-scented and are widely used in cooking.
Apple Mint is a vigorous herbaceous perennial and is very easy to grow. It can be invasive and is therefore often grown in pots or sunken containers.
Cut back at the end of the growing season. Can be lifted and divided in spring each year.
Plants are of 9 cms – 1 litre pot size, but to reduce use of plastic we reuse our pots and supply plants wrapped in newspaper. We mix and use our own compost.
