2019 Apiary Overview

Location: Burghley House Estate, Stamford, Lincolnshire

Approximately 69 metres above sea level, the apiary at Burghley House is set in a private location and in 2019 had 18 hives producing honey.

The approximately 15,000 acre estate offers our bees open water sources, wild foraging such as dandelion, ragwort and ivy as well as propagated sources including wild flower meadows consisting of phacelia, clover and of course the famous Burghley lime tree avenue.

The result is an extremely diverse, floral honey that is light and a truly unique flavour. 2019 was the most delicious of the crops to date!
