We launched the UK’s first and only School of Honey back in 2017 and have welcomed many of you here to the farm to sample the amazing flavour sensations of honey – now we’re bringing the irresistible taste of raw, British honey directly to you in this unique virtual school of honey!
With more of us wanting a safer way to connect with friends, family and colleagues, we thought this would brighten up those video chats, and give you an experience to remember!
Included in the price of your ticket you’ll receive a specially wrapped parcel sent direct to your door, featuring everything you need to take part (you supply an internet connection and a laptop/tablet/phone!) including tasting spoons, a printed tasting guide, several secret parcels not to be opened until the experience begins, and five jars of honey – all yours to keep and enjoy after the experience.
Simply select a time that suits you to join the next Online Honey Tasting Experience; log on with Zoom at your scheduled time (full details will be sent by email but it’s super simple), and join one of our honeybee farmers as they:
- guide you briefly through the history of honey
- how it gets from the bees to the jar
- how to correctly taste honey and identify what it’s made from
- exciting cooking and baking recipes that will make you completely rethink honey as a valuable ingredient
- and we’ll guide you through what’s inside those secret parcels marked DO NOT OPEN! contained in your delivery!
