THE UK'S FIRST AND ONLY 'SCHOOL OF HONEY'!

An exciting, interactive tasting adventure of raw, British honey flavours and mead, the world's oldest alcoholic drink, make this the perfect experience for foodies!

Each experience lasts a full two and a half hours here on our organic farm, awarded the Green Tourism gold award, just 18 minutes from Peterborough train station and 4 minutes from the town of Market Deeping in Lincolnshire.

The 'School of Honey' makes for an ideal gift or indulgent treat for yourself and includes:

  • Refreshments provided throughout
  • Explore history's oldest alcoholic drink, made from honey, in our unique mead tasting - a selection of unique, British meads from light and subtle to dark and stormy!
  • Our exclusive honey tasting experience of 10 different types of honey including our own 2018 Great Taste award-winning honey - discover how different honey flavours are produced by the bees and enjoy exploring the unique flavours and textures in this eye opening tasting that includes tasting a fresh frame of honeycomb, lifted straight from the hive.
  • Guided by one of our beekeepers, use your new-found honey knowledge in our honey pairing session as you discover how to use honey to lift and enhance flavours in the kitchen or replace sugar in baking, demonstrated by home-baked treats, each with honey at their heart
  • Make your own delicious, honey-based versatile dressing to take away, perfect for salads, stir fry and basting
  • Discover how wax plays a key role in preserving honey and hand-make your own 100% natural, smokeless, long-lasting beeswax candles.
  • Exclusive discounted pricing on any purchases in our farm shop - stock up on honey and gifts at special prices!
  • Take home a Honey Goodie Bag including a jar of our delicious, raw, artisan honey; your handmade candle and dressing and a set of our exclusive honey-based recipe cards.
